I work with children and youth and their families and others (teachers, assistants, caregivers) in their environments to maximize participation in daily occupations through:
Assessment – Sensory and motor skills, life skills, printing, writing, keyboarding, accessibility. Rehabilitation – Individual/group, functional programs. Consultation – Modifications and accommodations, participation in program planning conferences, liaison and referral. Education – Disability awareness and training, parent education, community resource information. Health Promotion – Advocacy, support to self help groups.
I provide services in my client’s natural environment and or /clinic setting depending on needs. This may include home, preschool, school, leisure facility, clinic. My fees are negotiated based on the type of service requested. Fees are tax deductible or may be covered by private insurance plans, government or charitable funding.
